Synopsis
Advances in medicine and technology have brought unprecedented gains to mankind, but have led to global over-population and over-consumption. We are consuming natural resources considerably faster than they can be replenished. While the human population continues to grow, the population of many animal species is falling rapidly. Climate change is upon us. It is being increasingly recognised that we cannot go on ignoring these problems but need to accelerate our actions to address them. There is only one planet earth.
