Synopsis
This one-day event focuses on introducing the fundamentals of process chemistry using case studies from both industry and academia. The event is designed to be accessible for those without prior experience in the challenges of developing scalable syntheses but will also be engaging for attendees with some experience seeking a more thorough understanding.

Speakers will address essential topics in detail, as well as introducing new technologies and innovations that are transforming the scale-up landscape. In addition to talks, there will be opportunities for wider engagement, with a panel discussion and opportunities for networking.

Topics to be covered include:

Process Research & Development
Safety Considerations During Scale-Up
Scaling Up Using Flow Chemistry
Photochemistry Scale-Up  Considerations
Automation, Data Generation and Analysis
Priorities in Time-Critical Scale-Up
Attendees
The event is aimed at anyone with an interest in learning about the scaling up of synthetic processes (for example, but not limited to: early-career professionals, students and people with a recent or possible career move towards process chemistry). Some prior knowledge or experience in synthetic chemistry (on mg to g scale) would aid understanding.
