Synopsis
Within the global chemistry sector there are a large number of potential roles in which to start a career with and deciding which career path to choose can be a daunting decision. Once a potential career starting point has been identified the next challenge is securing that position. This event aims to highlight some potential careers that are available in academia, and in some obvious and not so obvious industries. The speakers will describe what those roles look like on a day-to-day basis and the potential paths into them including the types of support that are available to help you succeed. There will also be ample time for networking opportunities with fellow researchers, industry contacts and you will also get the chance to understand what a potential employer may want from successful candidates.
