This event is no longer available for registration.
UK jobs for doctoral chemists considering industrial research are no longer predominantly offered by multinational pharmaceutical enterprises (Big Pharma). Instead a wealth of excellent opportunities now exists among new smaller companies (SMEs), the contract research sector (CROs), and charity funded organisations (Third Sector).
The meeting will bring together speakers from SME, CRO and Third Sector organisations to present the range of opportunities within this sector. It will also enable companies to better describe the differences in working for a large organisation versus a smaller one. Many of the speakers will have experience across sectors and be able to describe the pros and cons of each. They will also be able to describe the attributes they look for in potential employees.SCI
