We are reconvening the SCI North East Group to help tackle some of the biggest challenges we face today - from accelerating the green transition to strengthening innovation and driving sustainable economic growth.

The North East has long been a powerhouse of scientific and industrial excellence, and with a large proportion of SCI members based here, it’s only right that we build on this legacy. By bringing together industry, academia, and policymakers, we aim to spark collaboration, investment, and long-term impact across the region.

We’re excited to grow a vibrant, connected community that champions the North East’s future.
