Review of 134th SCI AGM

The 134th SCI AGM was attended by 66 members. Following a vote, the AGM saw the election of Dr Alan Baylis and the new Chair of the Board of Trustees, as well as four Trustees. Members were also elected unopposed as Ordinary Members of the three Standing Committees. SCI Honorary President Paul Booth OBE was succeeded by Neil Carson.

Postal voting for the 2015 AGM election has now closed. However, it is still not too late to cast your vote. You can do so in person at the 134th SCI AGM on 1 July 2015.

Public Lecture: Prof Ed Bullmore - video now available

SCI welcomed Prof Ed Bullmore to present a Public Evening Lecture on Understanding and treatment of mental health disorders such as depression and psychosis, on 28 May 2015.

The SCI Distinguished Service Award is presented annually at the AGM. The award celebrates the hard work and goodwill of longer-serving Members of all component parts of SCI, where they give their time as volunteers.

SCI Members are encouraged to put themselves forward for election as Trustees or Standing Committee Members to steer the long-term direction of the society and contribute their experience and ideas to shaping its future.
