Distinguished Service Awards Recipients 2015

The SCI Distinguished Service Award is presented annually at the AGM. The award celebrates the hard work and goodwill of longer-serving Members of all component parts of SCI, where they give their time as volunteers to organise conferences, edit or peer-review the material published in our journals, share their enthusiasm, or lend their leadership and vision to sustain regional or technical group activities.

SCI is pleased to announce this year's winners are: Mr Andy Kerridge, Dr James Nairne and Dr Karl Swift.  

Mr Andy Kerridge has been a member of the Food Group Committee for more than 15 years. He has twice served as Chairman, and has held other positions too. He was nominated by the Food Group Committee for his continued dedication to their aims and activities. read more

Dr James Nairne was nominated for his work with the Publications Advisory Committee and the Fine Chemicals Group. James has been a member of the Fine Chemicals Group committee for more than a decade, holding a range of position including being the Chair from 2008 – 2009. James is also currently a member of the Publications Advisory Committee.

Dr Karl Swift was nominated by his colleagues for his work with the Fine Chemicals Group. Karl has been a member of the Fine Chemicals Group committee for more than a decade, holding a range of position including being the Chair from 2009 – 2011.

SCI would like to thank all of the 2015 DSA recipients, for their dedicated support of SCI, and congratulate them on this achievement.
