SCI early career members residing or carrying out research in the Liverpool and North West region are invited to apply for a Travel Bursary or Scholarship to support the cost of their travels via our Leverhulme bursary scheme.
If you are travelling to a conference and presenting a paper or poster, or planning a study visit to another institution or industrial site you can receive up to £1500 to help with your costs by applying for an SCI bursary.
The SCI Leverhulme bursary offers support for scientists in the Liverpool and North West region who are working across any of the disciplines represented by our diverse technical interest groups. So whether your studies relate to Biosciences, Environment, Health and Safety, Separation Science, Lipids, or any other area covered by SCI's groups you could be eligible for an SCI travel bursary to help you to build your skills and knowledge.
All applications must be completed using our online nomination forms and supporting references are required.
The closing date for travel bursary applications is 31 October.
If you like the sound of this but you are not resident in Liverpool or the North West, why not consider applying for a bursary from one of our other schemes? Click on the link below to see more information about SCI's many bursary options.
*Please note that all applicants must be SCI members prior to application, with the exception of Rideal Travel Bursaries where applicants can be either an SCI or an RSC member.
