The winner of the 2010 SCI Scotland Prize for the best PhD thesis submitted to a Scottish university in the fields of chemistry and related disciplines is Dr Zixue Su.
Dr Su, who graduated recently from the School of Chemistry at the University of St Andrews, carried out his PhD under the supervision of Professor Wuzong Zhou. His thesis, entitled Porous Anodic Metal Oxides, has resulted in eight highly-cited publications to date. Dr Su has now returned to China to take up an academic post.
