Ben Summers, Young Ambassador on SCI’s Food Commodities and Ingredients Committee won the Cadbury Award for the ‘Best Food, Nutrition & Health Student’ at the 2009 Science, Engineering & Technology (SET) Student of the Year Awards. Ben joined the FC&I Committee after winning the Young Scientists Research Competition sponsored by SCI and the Institute of Food Science and Technology for his paper on arsenic intake in Nepal, earlier in 2009.
