Best Sixth Form Chemist Awards 2014

13 Oct 2014

SCI's Thames and Kennet Group were delighted to host the annual Best Sixth Form Chemist awards on 1 October 2014 at the University of Reading. Thirty schools from across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire and Surrey and East Sussex took part in the event, selecting one candidate each for the Best Sixth Form Chemist award. The overall winner of the best chemist county award was Shyam Taylor from Royal Grammar School in Guildford and the second prize went to Eliza McHugh from Varndean College in Brighton. This event was a unique opportunity to reward excellent young chemists, but also to encourage them to take up a career in science.
