Welcome to the web pages of the Young Chemists' Panel of the Fine Chemicals Group. The Young Chemists' Panel comprises early career researchers (lecturers, senior lecturers, senior scientists, team leaders, etc.) from both academia and industry, representing a wide range of universities and companies in the UK. The panel is extremely active in the design and running of conferences, workshops, and other meetings that are of interest to younger members of the organic chemistry community. Additionally, we are interested in raising public and media awareness of all aspects of chemistry.
SCI’s Young Chemists’ Panel are committed to promoting diversity and equality in the chemical sciences. We aim to identify high quality speakers for all our conferences with inclusivity of gender and ethnicity. Attendees from all backgrounds and ages are welcome.

In brief
SCI's Young Chemists' Panel (YCP) provides a forum for discussion and the sharing of information relevant to all aspects of pure and applied synthetic chemistry. Our meetings are aimed primarily at less experienced members of the academic and industrial communities, through workshop-based residential meetings as well as more traditional one-day conferences.
