Cheminformatics is a dynamic and rapidly evolving field which is at the heart of modern drug design. It uses computer and informational techniques applied to a range of problems in the field of chemistry. The primary application of cheminformatics is in the storage, indexing and search of information relating to compounds.

The event was hosted at The Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire and comprised of a high quality programme of plenary lectures, plus both a poster session, and a commercial exhibition.
