Synopsis

We live in an era where digital technologies have become integral to society. They have changed the landscape of many industries and are now indispensable to most. Such technologies can offer organisations the ability to increase productivity, improve quality, gain more consistency, develop flexibility, and lead to more innovation. Currently, we are seeing computational power reaching unprecedented heights, making the capabilities of digital technologies within chemistry compelling to academia and industry.

Choosing a path through all the available ways to apply digital techniques to your company is challenging. SCI is setting up a community where you can learn from those who have already started that journey. The community will be managed by a committee of practitioners and run for the benefit of all.

Join this launch event which will focus on case studies of successes, challenges, and opportunities arising from the implementation of digital solutions in a variety of industry settings. Much of the day will be focused on discussing best practices in implementation, the latest technology, and some of the solutions being offered.

Attendees

Attendance at this event is welcomed from scientists and engineers in industry and academia with experience in developing and implementing digital solutions, as well as researchers and technology directors with an interest in leveraging new technologies to increase productivity in their organisation.
