Synopsis

On behalf of SCI’s Chinese UK Reginal Group and the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in the UK, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend our 30th Joint Annual Conference.

After 20 years, the conference will return to UCL. The theme will be “retrospect and prospect”. We would like to gather and celebrate your stories, successes and achievements with our Chinese colleagues in the UK’s academia and industry, for a better ‘Union and Future’.

Tuesday 6 September 2023

14:00: Registration and pre-conference drinks reception
16:00: Sports activities (badminton and table tennis)
17:00: Supplementary registration re-opens
19:00: Conference dinner

Wednesday 7 September 2023

08:30: Registration
09:30: Opening ceremony and plenary talk
11:15: 4 parallel sessions
12:30: Lunch and poster session
13:45: 4 parallel sessions
15:40: Concluding remarks and SCI award ceremony

Call for abstracts

Contributions are invited from all areas of chemistry and chemical engineering but not limited to: formulation, surface science, catalysis, energy and materials. Please submit your abstract by sending an email to Mr. Xuan Gao at xuan.gao.21@ucl.ac.uk by Monday 29 August 2023 (17.00). An abstract template can be downloaded on UCL.
