On behalf of SCI’s Chinese UK Group and the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology in the UK, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend our 32nd Joint Annual Conference of Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology.

Call for abstracts

Contributions are invited from all areas of chemistry and chemical engineering but not limited to formulation, surface science, catalysis, materials, process simulation and system integration. Please submit your abstract to Mr Tianheng Qin at t.qin.23@abdn.ac.uk by 5:00 pm, Sunday 16th Aug 2025 - download the abstract template (DOC).

Call for nominations – CSCST-UK 2025 Emerging Researcher Award

We are calling for the nomination of the CSCST-UK 2025 Emerging Researcher Award. This award presented by the CSCST-UK is designed to award persons of outstanding achievement in chemical engineering, chemistry or a closely related field. The award also serves the purposes of recognising and stimulating young talents within the relevant Chinese community in the UK and providing the visibility in a young career. This year we continue the call for nominations for a postdoctoral researcher and a senior PhD student. Download more information about this award (PDF).

The registration fee includes the access to Aberdeen Sports Village, dinner, on Thursday 28th August 2025, access to conference, breakfast, refreshments and lunch on Friday 29th August 2025.
