Is there someone who you would like to see recognized for their contribution to SCI? If so, now is your opportunity to nominate them for The Lampitt Medal or the SCI Distinguished Service Award (DSA).
The Lampitt Medal commemorates Leslie Lampitt (1887 – 1957) who worked tirelessly for SCI in many roles throughout his life. The Lampitt Medal provides a means by which SCI can honor members who have given their time, leadership, vision and enthusiasm across the Society’s activities.
The SCI Distinguished Service Award (DSA) is presented to members of the Society who have made a significant and sustained contribution to at least one element – normally a group – in the SCI structure for 10 years or more. The length of service, the offices held and the nature of the contribution are all considered when this award presented. The DSA has been presented since 2001, the year designated by the UN as: Year of the International Volunteer.

Please refer to the related guidelines to ensure that you have provided the correct information in your nomination. The awards will be presented at SCI’s 141st AGM on Wednesday 6 July 2022.
