SCI is pleased to announce news from our collaborative partner, the American Chemical Society (ACS).
The ACS Heroes of Chemistry Award Program, which honours industrial chemical scientists who have developed commercially successful products that benefit humankind, has recognised the achievements of chemical scientists since 1996.
Nominations for the 2016 awards are now open!
Whilst recognising chemical scientists whose work in various fields of chemistry and chemical engineering has led to the successful development of commercial products, the Heroes Award Program also highlights the vital role of industrial chemical scientists and their companies in improving human welfare through successful commercial innovations and products.
Each year, small and large companies from around the world are invited to nominate their employees to recognise their talent, creativity, and innovation.
Full details on the nominations procedure can be accessed via the link below. In brief, any private or publicly owned for-profit company may make a nomination. The deadline for submissions is 21 March 2016.
