Energy Science & Engineering is a new peer reviewed, open access journal dedicated to fundamental and applied research on energy supply and use. It offers a fast route to publication and the opportunity to publish in a broadly distributed and highly visible global forum. This is a joint collaboration between Wiley Open Access and SCI. Papers are welcomed on fundamental and applied research on energy supply and use, including the topics listed below (see the full Aims and Scope below for further details):
- General energy
- Fossil fuels
- Energy storage
- Nuclear energy
- Renewable energy
- Power engineering
The Editor-in-Chief is Tomas Kåberger, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
To cover the cost of publishing - including administration of peer review, production, marketing, online hosting and development of online tools - Energy Science & Engineering charges a publication fee. SCI members benefit from a 20% discount on the article publication charge for Energy Science & Engineering when they submit a paper directly to the journal. The usual price for publishing in the new open access journal is £1200, but SCI members pay £960.
