SCI is committed to providing opportunities to early career scientists to promote their research through poster presentations at events; supporting presenters to develop their communications skills. It also offers a valuable networking opportunity with people in a similar field. As well as meeting others in the early stages of their career, presenters can connect with established professionals who may be able to share knowledge or contacts to enable them to build their career.
SCI is pleased to announce that our publishing partner Wiley will be generously sponsoring prizes for poster presenters at two upcoming SCI events.
The events where Wiley is a sponsor are:
- BioResources Young Researchers in Agrisciences 2014
- Biorationals
Wiley will make £200 available for winners to use to purchase Wiley Chemistry books. The organising committee for each event will decide on how many prizes will be awarded and to what value.
Places for poster presentations will be limited, so please follow the application procedure for each event, as detailed on the events listings, which can be searched for using the link below.
Please note that you do not need to be an SCI member to present a poster at these events, but will need to meet the application criteria as detailed in the event listing.
