Refurbishment of the SCI Business Centre, the members-only meeting room located adjacent to Reception (at No 15) was completed at the end of last year. Based on feedback provided by members, we have redecorated and refurbished the room so that it is more in keeping with the building.
Within the refurbished room, you will have access to the same facilities ase previously. There are two computers, with internet access, and a printer available for you to use. We continue to offer access to the Wireless network, if you would prefer to use your own laptop. The tables and chairs offer you a place to have a meeting, whilst the sofas offer you somewhere more relaxed. There are also facilities for you to help yourself to hot and cold drinks. We encourage our Members to take advantage of the refurbished centre which offers a calm, welcoming space in the heart of London.
We would also like to remind you that although the Business Centre is available exclusively to Members, you are able to bring up to two non-members into the Business Centre with you. If you intend to have a larger meeting, please book one of the other meeting rooms. You can do this by calling Angela on 020 7598 5000 or by emailing her at roombookings@soci.org.
As previously advised, we will only have limited access to The Members’ Lounge (opposite the Council Room) from February 1. Our new tenants, Canning House, have requested exclusive use of this room as part of their tenancy agreement. However, we are confident that you will find the newly refurbished business centre offers a comfortable and practical alternative.
