SCI and Wiley today announce the launch of a new online journal dedicated to the management of greenhouse gases through capture, storage, utilisation and other strategies.
Greenhouse Gases: Science and Technology (GHG) provides an important resource exploring the methods for capture, storage, transportation and utilisation of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. The journal also offers analyses of relevant economic and political issues, business and industry developments, case studies and features.
The first issue includes:
- The Scale and Magnitude of Pressure Buildup Induced by Large-Scale Geologic Storage of CO2, Q Zhou, J T Birkholzer
- Ca Looping Technology: Current Status, Developments and Future Directions, B E Anthony
- CO2 mineral sequestration – developments towards large-scale application, R Zevenhoven et al
GHG aims to facilitate communication between academic researchers and engineers and technologists in power generation and heavy industry. Communication will help to bring the latest breakthroughs to commercialisation as soon as possible, and also address head on the many challenges involved with carbon dioxide capture and storage in an objective and multidisciplinary manner.
Libraries are eligible for complimentary online access until the end of 2012, and can retain online access to all content published during 2011 and 2012 with or without a paid subscription in subsequent years.
