The Joseph Bazalgette Award was formerly named the Construction Materials Group Young Researchers' Award and is awarded to the person producing the best paper/presentation given at a Construction Materials Young Researchers' Forum.

Nominations

The Joseph Bazalgette Award is open to students and young researchers who have presented an oral/poster at the Construction Materials Young Researchers' Forum. The winner is selected by a panel made up from the Construction Materials Committee (in practice the organising sub-committee for the Young Researchers' Forum).

Lecture Details

The Joseph Bazalgette Award is presented at The Construction Materials Young Researchers' Forum. The award winner receives a certificate and cash prize (amount at the discretion of the Construction Materials Committee).

The Beilby Medal and Prize are awarded annually to a scientist or engineer to recognise substantial work of exceptional practical significance in chemical engineering, applied materials science, energy efficiency, or a related field.
