Paul Clarke Travel Award

This award celebrates the extensive contribution of Professor Paul Clarke to the Yorkshire and Humber SCI group. Paul chaired the committee for several years and brought boundless energy and fierce dedication to our group. He was instrumental in bringing many events to Yorkshire and avidly represented the fantastic chemical activity of our region at SCI.

Above all, Paul was a passionate teacher, mentor and friend and always keen to selflessly help early-career researchers with progressing their career. For this reason, this award named after Paul is dedicated to helping early-career researchers in Yorkshire and the Humber travel to chemistry, chemical engineering or related conferences and therefore help them to both broaden their knowledge and build a network ahead of their next career move.
