Introducing Liverpool and North West prize winner, Osekafore Alabi

21 November 2018

Osekafore won the Best second year student on the BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical Science programme prize.

Osekafore chose pharmaceutical science because of her love of science and she was particularly interested in the uniqueness of the Pharmaceutical Science course.

The idea of learning the science that goes into drug development coupled with the hope of one day formulating a life changing drug inspired her choice.

Osekafore has found the course, although challenging, has exceeded all her expectations and is exceedingly glad with her choice to study it. Every day in lectures or labs is different and exciting.

After graduation, Osekafore hopes to get a job in the pharmaceutical industry. She is spoilt for choice but so far her interests lie in either clinical trials or the area of pharmacovigilance.

Outside of academia, Osekafore loves music, reading and trying new things.
