As part of the celebrations for SCI's 140th year, this event will demonstrate efforts in and around Yorkshire to drive collaboration between academia and industry to drive the digital transformation of chemical industries. The day will focus on particular examples of these collaborations in areas such as computerised automation, rapid discovery, sustainable processes and process data modelling, all driven by digital technologies.
Our speakers will demonstrate the path taken by these academic/industry collaborations and will share their success stories. The day will culminate with a presentation from Prof Elaine Martin who will share her views on the development of this area. She will subsequently receive the Henry Armstrong award from SCI for her work on Process Engineering throughout her career thus far.
