Lampitt Medal 2014

20 Feb 2014

The Lampitt Medal commemorates Leslie Herbert Lampitt (1887-1957), who worked tirelessly for SCI in many roles throughout his life. He founded the Society's internationally respected Food Group. He held many offices in SCI, including the World Presidency from 1946-1948 (more information). The Lampitt Medal provides a means by which SCI can honour Members who have taken inspiration from Leslie Lampitt's example, offering their own extraordinary gifts of time, leadership, vision and enthusiasm. The Medal is awarded to SCI members who have contributed outstandingly to the work of the Society in more than one area of the Society's activities.

Nominations for 2014 are now closed, but will re-open later in the year.
