Emily Moore
Hatch

Emily Moore is presently global director, water at Hatch, an engineering consulting company serving the mining and metals, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Previously, she was Hatch’s director of technology development, responsible for technology portfolio management including project development, technology transfer, industry–university partnerships and intellectual property management. From 1997–2008 Moore worked at Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC) where she helped to bring Xerox’s Emulsion Aggregation toner technology from the lab to manufacturing.

Moore is a graduate of the engineering chemistry program at Queen’s University and completed her doctorate in physical chemistry at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. Moore was president of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering. Her work has been recognized with many awards. Most recently she was named by Women in Mining (UK) as one of the Top 100 Inspirational Women in Mining of 2016.
