Cambridge hears tales from the brewhouse

The Cambridge and Great Eastern Regional Group hosted a joyful event on Thursday 10 September 2009 when Richard Naisby (founder and manager of Milton Brewery, Cambridge) gave a fascinating, informal talk about the science and history of beer.

The audience was encouraged to taste two of his excellent ales (Icarus and Minotaur – he favours classical names). Traditional pub fare was available after the talk, including pork pies, strong English cheese, pickled onions and chutneys!
