Survey of the UK Electron Microscopy community on Mid-Range Facilities

The British Carbon Group

You may already be aware that the EPSRC is conducting a survey of mid-range facilities in the UK. These are facilities such as SuperSTEM, MEIS and the Surrey Ion Beam Centre. An important part of this exercise is to consult the community to ascertain the need for such facilities. The funding of existing and priorities for future facilities will depend on the outcome of this exercise. As a result of this SuperSTEM is carrying out a survey of the UK electron microscopy community to gather their views and opinions on electron microscopy facilities, from SEMs through to aberration corrected (S)TEMs.

If you have had any experience of electron microscopy The SuperSTEM team would greatly appreciate your input to this survey.
