SCI is pleased to bring you news from our collaborative partner Sense About Science.
The first Standing up for Science media workshop of 2014 will be held on 14 March at the University of Manchester.
If you are a young scientist who believes that good science and evidence should be communicated to a wider audience then this is the event for you!
This free full day event is open to all early career science, engineering and medicine researchers at PhD or post-doc level, or at the equivalent stage in their first job.
Speakers include Dr Susanne Shultz, Royal Society University Research Fellow, University of Manchester and Victoria Gill, Science Journalist, BBC who will be speaking about science in the media and what journalists are looking for.
