Volunteering with SCI: The Benefits

Duration: 03:26 | July 2013
Dr David Evans

If you volunteer to be part of a Regional or Technical Interest Group Committee, you can get involved in events and activities in a specific technical area or geographic location, supporting SCI to reach out to audiences with an interest in Chemistry and related sciences.

You can also volunteer as a member of the Board of Trustees or Standing Committees, where you will be involved in shaping SCI for the future.

Recipient of the 2013 Lampitt Medal, Dr David Evans is a Technical Interest Group committee member and has served on the Membership Affairs Committee. Watch the video accessible below to hear from David about the benefits he thinks are offered.
