From Concord to Composites - Our Graphene Story

At the SCI Summer Reception 2017 on Wednesday 5 July 2017, Harry Swan gave a fascinating talk, describing how the pathway to graphene began under the wings of a concord at Duxford Imperial War Museum.

Harry Swan is the 4th generation of the Swan family to work at Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd. and has been Managing Director since 2006. He was awarded the Carbon in Industry Medal on the day, for his contributions to carbon science and technology, specifically in recognition of his work bringing graphene from the laboratory to the market.
