Chinese biodiesel producer China Biodiesel is increasing its proportion of output of higher-value products for use in the plastics industry to 75% of total output, compared with 35% in August 2007. The company increased production capacity at its Longyan plant in Fujian province to 30 000t/year in H2 2007, and is conducting production trials at a new 50 000 t/year facility nearby in Xiamen.
