Victoria Carlyle is a 2023 Canada Student Merit Award winner. She achieved this award for obtaining the highest standing of her class in the fourth and final year of her degree. Here is a brief biography of the winner.
Victoria Carlyle obtained both a Diploma in Engineering Technology and Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Lakehead University. During her studies she completed internships in both the Construction, and Pulp & Paper industries and actively volunteered for the Engineering Students Society and Engineers Without Borders. Since graduation, Victoria has entered the manufacturing industry, employed as a Group Engineer at Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc.
