From June 2013, the SCI membership team will be introducing e-mail renewal notices. This will only apply to members who have already advised us that they are happy to receive their renewal notifications by email and to members who are happy to receive email correspondence from us.
The emails will be addressed from email@example.com. In order to prevent these emails being put straight into your junk mail or spam folders, please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts in your email system.
Members who have told us that they do not want to receive any email correspondence from us, and those who have advised us they want to receive letters in the post, will receive postal correspondence.

At this time, we will also be changing the timings for notifications to be sent. The first renewal notice will now be sent to you a month before your membership is due to lapse. This is a month earlier than we currently send the renewal notices out. We will continue to send up to a further four renewal notifications, if required.
